This is a warning to my readers. Over the last year I have bought six cars on eBay. The first, was like this, a second chance buy from someone who (when I investigated) turned out to be an award winning drug prosecutor in Pendleton, Oregon. I went down to get the car and am driving it today. This was a second chance offer to buy a 1953 Chevy which I wanted to join my other 1953 Chevy Sheriff's car. You have to start at the bottom and read up to get the flow but it is a scam for sure. The actual car is in Bremerton and was not sold because the reserve price was not met. The standard in these case is to send off a PAYPAL deposit of $300. (I have done it without thought six times) and if this person had just sent it to me with a request for a $300 PayPal deposit, I think I would have sent it without a second thought.
