QUESTION: I have worked in the United States for less than 120 days/year, and permanently reside in Canada. I have been told that because I travel to and from the USA and Canada, and I reside in Canada, all I must do is show documented proof, based on travel documents, expense sheets etc of my time spent in the USA. The calculations indicate that I have spent barely 2 years in the USA. It is exit 18 if you come over the Second Narrows Bridge and just stay on the highway. Come over Second Narrows, stay on the road past exit 22, etc and turn off at Exit 18. Go right UP the hill when you get to Lonsdale. If you come over the Lion's Gate, you can just follow Marine Drive in an Easterly direction until you come to Lonsdale. When you get to Lonsdale, turn left and come up the hill. Faster is to come off the Lion's Gate bridge turning right into North Vancouver and then left at the first set of lights which is Capilano Road. Go up Capilano PAST the first set of lights and turn right onto the highway (going east) at the second set of lights. Take the second exit you come to which is exit 18 and Lonsdale. Turn left (up the hill) at Lonsdale. Now from either direction, you go up Lonsdale to the top. Lonsdale comes to an end and you turn left (west) 3 houses to a stop sign. This is Prospect Road to the right and Montroyal Boulevard straight ahead. Turn RIGHT up Prospect Road and climb the hill. At the top it flattens out and curves around to the left and then to the right in an "S" curve. When you come out of the curve, 4466 Prospect Road is just about straight ahead on the right. The number is on the mailbox and on the flat curb. At the moment, the bottom of the driveway still has Halloween decorations up with a couple of skeletons in a tree and a spider covered 53 Sheriff's Car parked in front of the house. Do not go up the driveway unless you are a real good backer-upper. There is no room to turn around at the top and we back up the driveway. There are 51 steps. If you have problems with steps please phone ahead or use your cell so that we can come down and drive you up. I also have another office (not available on weekends) where I can meet anyone who is uncomfortable. I have had the other office for 13 months and have yet to use it. One associate used it for about seven days and it just sits there. But it is wheelchair accessible, etc. There are no message machines on any of the lines. If I do not answer, no one is available. If it is really important, (caught at a border, in your bank manager's office) phone three times in a row. I will even walk out of a movie to take a call if I see the same number three times in a row on my cell. Another thing I will do when busy is answer the phone and ask you to call back in 15 minutes, one hour, etc. Again, if something is really important, call me three times and I will do my best to take the call.
