QUESTION: I recently married my longtime boyfriend, who is a dual citizen,
he works works for a US company and maintains residency in the US, and
visits me in canada on weekends or when he is here on work. I am a canadian
citizen, and I live and work here. Can you tell me if we need to change
this living arrangement or if there is some way to work around it? It seems
very daunting to deal with both tax systems.

I do not really understand the question.
However, if he is a Canadian Citizen with a wife in Canada that he spends
every or most weekends with, he is going to be taxable in Canada under
Article IV of the US / Canada Income tax Convention (Treaty).
To avoid that, you should spend every second weekend and holidays with him
in the USA.
