The full blown seminar will cost you almost $3,000. for a three days sit in
and unlimited access to hotline. Any opinon on this. By the way, you were

You are putting me on the spot. I have met Russ Whitney. At the time (Nov
1991) he was actually living in a house in Cape Coral, Florida in a lot that
I had been involved in selling someone else in 1967 when I worked for Gulf
American Land Corporation in Florida.
Russ has a seminar that one or two people out of a hundred will do something
with. Attending it will either leave you motivated or disappointed in your
inability to do what it seemed to say you could do. But that is true of all
real estate seminars including the one that I gave way back when.
Over 3,000 people bought real estate as a result of my seminars. That was
because I actually had product that you could buy.
Back to Russ Whitney / the info line or mentoring line sounds a lot better
than it is. Again, the only reason it works is because few people take
advantage of it because people attend these seminars and lose interest very
quickly.
If you are in the Vancouver area and wanting to learn a lot more about real
estate and trends, I think you are better off joining Ozzie Jurock's REAG
groups. I have NEVER - not once - met or had a client who made money in
Real Estate with Russ Whitney even though he has been through Vancouver a
dozen times and I am sure that more than 2,000 people have attended his
seminars or bought his pre-recorded audio do it your self seminar in
Vancouver. I could likely name 50 people who have profited with Ozzie's
seminars and there were 150 people at the one I attended last Monday when
Helmut Pastrick, Chief Economist of the BC Central Credit Union gave an hour
long talk about the history, trends, prices, buyers, etc of Vancouver Real
'estate over the last 50 years and a prediction up to the Olympics. Ozzie
does a quality seminar with out the razzle dazzle associated with most Real

According to one of the Russ Whitney websites, Whitney has no use for the
Better Business Bureau. We suspect it may be due to Mr. Whitney's rating at
the BBB (The Russ Whitney group has "...an unsatisfactory record with the
Better Business Bureau due to a pattern of complaints...")

be anything he has not touched in some way.
Now - I attended one of Russ's seminars about 1985 and found it motivating,
interesting and a good source of information. However I found Raymond
Aaron's seminar to be more useful and I attended it at least five times. I
have also attended Wright Thurston, Robert Allen, and a dozen other real
estate seminars. I always get something from them and am the j=kind of guy
who has flown to Toronto or San /Francisco and spent $1,000 or $3,000 for
professional seminars and learned nothing new and considered it money well
spent to find out I am up to date.
When I learn something new, it is a bonus.
