US Tax Forms

I will need US income tax returns and related forms back to 1987.

Why do you need them back to 1987.
Do you have demands to file them back that far or do you think
you have to go back that far?
The policy in this office is to go back six years so at the
moment we would only go back to 1998 unless there were specific
requests or demands from the IRS.

You will have problems getting the forms back to that date.
We certainly have them here but only because they are buried on
our computer files and we would have to go in and print out
everything. Normally, we would not print blank pages and printing
manuals, etc, would use up a bunch of time.
You may be able to get them (particularly if there is an IRS
demand for the forms to be filed) by going down to the IRS /
social Security Office at 104 Magnolia (corner of Cornwall) in
Bellingham.

found at www.IRS.gov
