Question:
I am completely confused by these forms and have absolutely no idea what I am doing in trying to fill them out.
I have 2 RRSPs in Canada and have 7 days left to get this right and filed. Is there any accountant I can call to get some advice?

Anyone at our office can assist you with these forms.
I hate to be commercial but if you fax the Dec 31st, 2001 and Dec 31st 2002 year end statements for your RRSP's (no matter how big or how small) AND a copy of your 1040 to us, we will look after this for you.
Because you live in California, you have to realize that California does NOT recognize the US / Canada Treaty benefits or REV.PROC 2002-23.
We will prepare this year's return amendment for you for $300.00 for the first year and $100 for each additional RRSP or RRIF or LIF for you.
Interestingly, I discussed opeing a san Diego Office with my brother on Sunday. He has been there for years (not inthe tax busienss ) but was inthe tax business in Canada before that.
After we have prepard this year, you should be able to copy the method in subsequent years.
