US State and USA Federal Rules regarding buying and

Hello,
I am contemplating living and working in the U.S. If I do; 
1.    will the funds in my RRSP remain tax sheltered and 
2.    can I buy and sell stocks in my RRSP acct while I am in the U.S ?
3.     If so, is there someone you recommend I speak to should there be any forms etc to fill out.

1.    The funds in your RRSP wil remain tax shelterd. 
2.     You may buy and sell securities in your account according to US Federal Securities Law.
Go to http://sec.broaddaylight.com/sec/FAQ_18_23.shtm for the Federal Security rules and regulations.
3.    You are still subject to State Law and most of the states have ratified their laws to allow it as well.  Only a couple of holdouts remain.  You can obtain detailed information about the state youi intend to go to at IFIC's excellent public site at:
