Bellinham Resident has US / Canada Dual citizen
I'm still very confused about the circumstances under which people can become dual citizens. I'm a Canadian Citizen living and working in the US as a permanent resident. I would consider taking American citizenship as long as I don't have to give up my Canadian citizenship. Does the United States require new citizens to renounce other citizenships? Does it count if I renounce with my fingers crossed behind my back? However, judging from your occupation, it would undoubtedly be an advantage for you to be a US citizen rather than a Resident Alien.
