Interesting to me that I am answering questions from Ecuador and Columbia today.
As a US Resident (not a citizen) you have been required to report your world wide income since becoming a resident of the US.
1. To become a citizen now , you have to have lived in the US for at least 5 years with a green card.
2. An exception would be if you are being sponsored as the spouse of a US citizen, you married just over 3 years ago.
Please also note that we prepare Canadian, US, Australian, UK and New Zealand returns on a mail in, email, fax, snail mail or couriered basis. At any time, our clients are in 40 countries or more. They have every occupation from nuclear Submarine captains to FedEx pilots to Major Bank officers to Politicians, Diplomats and border patrol officers. My favourite, however, is a penguin catcher in Antarctica among others there..

3. Another possibility is that you are getting a derivative citizenship because your Mother or Father is an American.
In any of the above three cases, you have been taxable on your world income for years. Make sure you get the returns done sooner rather than later.
Of course, the USA IRS will give you credit for any tax paid to Columbia.
Glad to help of course, but I do not speak or read Spanish. We do have A Spanish reading tax preparer who will be back in 4 months however.
